Half-half vanilla ice cream

Quantity Ingredient
ICE CREAM COOKBOOK-----
3 quarts Half and half
3 cups Sugar
4 tablespoons Vanilla
2 teaspoons Salt

Directions

Heat one quart of half and half almost to the boiling poin and dissolve sugar and salt in it. Add remaining half and half and vanilla, chill and then freeze.
