Hot stilton bread

3 ounces Butter; softened
6 ounces Stilton; crumbled
2 tablespoons Snipped fresh chives or finely chopped spring onion
Freshlly ground black pepper
1 large Baguette

Directions

~ BBC Good Food Guide Christmas 93 Preheat oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6. Mix the butter, stilton, chives or spring onion and pepper. Slice the bread diagonally at 2.5cm/1in intervals almost to the base. Spread the stilton butter over each cut slice of bread. Wrap in foil, bake for 12-15 mins till the butter has melted, serrrve hot.
