Quantity | Ingredient | |
---|---|---|
1 | can | (14.5 oz) chicken broth |
6 | tablespoons | Louisiana Hot Sauce |
1 | tablespoon | (heaping) of garlic salt |
4 | tablespoons | Worchestershire sauce |
Directions
Optional: for a little more heat you can add any or as much of your favorite pepper juice.
Recipe for one turkey any size
In a quart jar mix above.
Place lid on jar and shake well. Make sure all the garlic salt is dissolved.
Inject ⅔ of the recipe in the turkey the night before to fry the next day. Thirty minutes before frying inject the last ⅓.
If you are thinking about buying your own turkey frying equipment. Do not fall for the "Injection Kit" for 19.95 or 29.95 deals. Total waste of good money.
Instead go to you local farm and supply store and by a large animal syringe and needle for about 3 dollars. If you want to spend a little extra buy a 6 dollar syringe. Needles are around 50 to 75 cents.
