Italian sauage and rice

Ingredients

1 | pounds | Italian sausage links |
2 | cups | Rice; uncooked long grain |
1 | medium | Onion; chopped |
1 | small | Red pepper; chopped |
1 | small | Green pepper; chopped |
Salt and pepper to taste | ||
4 | cups | Water or broth |
2 | teaspoons | Olive oil |
Directions
Cut sausage links into one inch pieces. Brown in skillet. Add olive oil and rice. Stir until all rice is coated with the color of the sausage drippings. Add water and stir in other ingredients. Cover and simmer over medium heat until the rice is the desired doneness.
Serving Ideas : This makes a great one dis meal, or a great main dish.
