Italian style meatless meatballs

Ingredients

2 | cups | Tofu, well broken up |
1 | cup | Wholewheat breadcrumbs |
1 | small | Onion, finely chopped |
1 | tablespoon | Natural soy sauce (or to taste) |
1 | cup | Wholewheat flour |
1 | teaspoon | Oregano |
¼ | teaspoon | Basil |
Directions
Combine the ingredients well in a large bowl, kneading the mixture a little to help it hold together. Shape the mixture into balls and shallow- or deep-fry them. Use these with spaghetti or bake them in the oven with a nice Italian-style tomato sauce (see recipe in this conference). Bake at 350ø for about half an hour.
