Italian style meatless meatballs

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Tofu, well broken up
1 cup Wholewheat breadcrumbs
1 small Onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon Natural soy sauce (or to taste)
1 cup Wholewheat flour
1 teaspoon Oregano
¼ teaspoon Basil

Directions

Combine the ingredients well in a large bowl, kneading the mixture a little to help it hold together. Shape the mixture into balls and shallow- or deep-fry them. Use these with spaghetti or bake them in the oven with a nice Italian-style tomato sauce (see recipe in this conference). Bake at 350ø for about half an hour.
