Kelli's macaroni and cheese

Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |
---|---|---|
8 | ounces | Cooked macaroni rinsed wtih cold water |
2 | cups | Cream sauce (see below) |
2 | cups | Cheddar cheese |
4 | tablespoons | Melted butter |
4 | tablespoons | Flour |
1 | cup | Milk |
1 | cup | Heavy cream |
Salt & pepper to taste |
Directions
CREAM SAUCE
1) Over low heat, melt butter and blend in flour. Gradually add milk and stir until thick and smooth. Add heavy cream and then salt and pepper to taste.
2) In Casserole dish, layer macaroni, cheese, and cream sauce in layers.
End with cheese on top. Top with bread crumbs if desired.
