Lazy day cobbler

Ingredients

1 | Stick of margarine | |
1 | cup | Sugar |
1 | cup | Flour |
¾ | cup | Milnot |
1½ | teaspoon | Baking powder |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | can | Unsweetened cherries |
½ | cup | Sugar |
Directions
Place margarine in a deep dish, or 8 x 8 inch pan in the oven to melt. Beat together sugar, flour, milk, baking powder and salt, to a smooth batter. Pour over melted butter, do not stir. Empty cherries and include the juice over batter and sprinle with ½ cup of sugar.
