Lemon and lime granita - bon appetit

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
cup Water
cup Sugar
½ cup Fresh lemonjuice
½ cup Fresh lime juice

Directions

Combine water and sugar in small saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture boils. Cool. Mix in lemon and lime juices. Pour into shallow pan. Freeze until mmixture is frozen, stirring frequently with fork, about 6 hours. (Can be prepared 2 days ahead. Keep frozen.)

Using fork, scrape surface of granita to form icy crystals. Scoop crystals into dessert glasses and serve.
