Louise banghart's brown bread (graham)

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 quart Buttermilk
cup Brown sugar
1 Egg
cup Shortening
1 cup Raisins; (optional)
¼ cup Molasses
1 cup All-purpose flour
1 cup Corn meal
4 cups Whole wheat flour; (graham)
1 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Baking soda

Directions

Mix and pour into 3greased and floured bread pans. Bake at 350 F. until done, aobut 50 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean. Makes 3 loaves. MC formatting by bobbi744@...
