Lowfat marinara sauce

Ingredients

1 tablespoon Olive oil
¾ cup Chopped onion
1 teaspoon Dried rosemary -- crushed
4 Cloves garlic -- crushed
½ teaspoon Sugar
¼ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
14½ ounce Tomatoes, canned undrained, chopped
¼ cup Fresh basil -- finely chopped

Directions

Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, rosemary, and garlic; sauté 3 minutes. Add sugar and next 3 ingredients; cook, uncovered, over medium heat 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; stir in basil. Serve with breadsticks.
