Mama's cherry and raspberry jam

30 ounces

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Pitted cherries
2 cups Raspberries
4 cups Sugar

Directions

Crush cherries slightly and cook until the skins are tender. Add raspberries and cook until the mixture begins to thicken. Add sugar and cook rapidly until thick. Cool slightly, pour into sterile jars and seal with parafin. Makes 5 (6 oz) glasses.
