Marklose balls (for soup)

2 | tablespoons | Beef marrow (from uncooked beef soup bones) |
2 | Eggs | |
1 | teaspoon | Onion; grated |
Pepper and salt to taste | ||
1 | cup | Soft bread crumbs |
Directions
Cut marrow fine, add eggs, onion, salt and pepper, and mix well.
Stiffen with bread crumbs and shape into balls the size of marbles.
Drop into hot broth or soup and cook uncovered 15 to 20 minutes.
