---|---|---|
1½ | pounds | Flank steak -- trimmed |
1 | cup | Soy sauce |
1 | cup | Duck sauce -- (or plum) |
2 | teaspoons | Garlic -- chopped |
1 | tablespoon | Ground ginger |
½ | teaspoon | Hot pepper sauce |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
½ | teaspoon | Black pepper |
2 | tablespoons | Vegetable oil |
Directions
Pierce the steak with a fork, and cut into ½-inch strips; place the steak in a plastic bag or large bowl. In a medium-sized bowl, make a marinade by combining the remaining ingedients, except the oil. Pour the marinade over the steak; cover and refrigerate for 1-3 hours, turning the steak halfway through. Remove the steak from the marinade, drain, and pat dry with paper towels; discard remaining marinade. Heat the oil in a wok or a large, deep skillet over high heat. Add the steak and cook for 3-4 minutes, tossing frequently until cooked through. Yield: 3-4 servings (with rice) Recipe By : Heart4Hom
