1 | small | Piece trassi (shrimp paste) |
3 | Garlic clove(s) | |
1 | Onion(s) | |
1 | tablespoon | Fish sauce (nam pla) |
1 | tablespoon | Brown sugar |
Lime juice |
Directions
FAR EASTERN
Chop the fruit. Seed and chop the chilies. Wrap the trassi in foil and grill until it darkens or cook in a preheated 350øF oven for a few minutes. Crumble and pound the trassi or process it with the other ingredients, adding lime juice to dilute and to taste. Stored in a jar, it will keep in the refrigerator for a few days.
