Oatmeal with fruit and nuts~

Ingredients

3 cups Water
½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Salt
1⅓ cup Regular Rolled oats
1 small Apple -- chopped
¼ cup Pitted whole Dates --
Snipped
2 tablespoons Sliced Almonds
1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
2⅔ cup Skim Milk

Directions

In a medium saucepan combine water, cinnamon, and salt. Bring to boiling; stir in oats. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let stand, covered, till of desired consistency. Divide oatmeal among 4 serving bowls. Top each bowl with chopped apple, snipped dates, sliced almonds, and brown sugar. Divide milk among serving bowls.

Per serving: 204 calories, 7 g protein, 38 g carbohydrates, 4 g fat, 1 mg cholesterol, 146 mg sodium, 315 mg potassium.
