Orange chili oil

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 Navel oranges; scrubbed
½ cup Crushed red pepper flakes
2 cups Peanut oil
¼ cup Roasted sesame oil

Directions

Using a vegetable peeler, remove just the orange part of the orange peel.

Place it in a nonaluminum saucepan with the remaining ingredients. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and simmer gently for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand, undisturbed, until cool. Strain through a coffee filter into a clean bottle.

Yield: about 1 pint
