Directions
From: Herbal Remedies, by Jill Nice 1) Cucumber juice will also cool aching feet, especially in the summer, but it can irritate.
2) Mix ¼ pint natural yoghurt and 1 teaspoon vinegar. Brush all over the feet to whiten discoulored skin and heal sore, hard patches. Leave for five minutes, then rinse off.
3) Orris and oatmeal powder. Mix together 8 tablespoons of very finely ground oatmeal and 2 tablespoons of orris root powder. Pass them through a fine sieve. Keep in a tightly sealed pot and use inside rubber gloves and Wellington boots to prevent excess perspiration.
4) Olive oil massage cream. Melt together 2 tablespoons each of olive oiland anhydrous lanolin in a bain-marie. Remove from the heat and beat constantly until the mixture cools. Pot and seal. Use nightly to alleviate dry and flaking skin on hands, feet arms and legs. Posted to MC-Recipe Digest V1 #595 by "Jazzbel" <jazzbel@...> on May 2, 1997
