Pat's broccoli/cauliflower salad

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 Heads Broccoli - tips; only, washed and dried with paper toweling
1 Head cauliflower - ditto
½ pounds Bacon; friend, crisped, and crumbled OR 1 whole jar of REAL, (Hormel) bacon bits
1 cup Sharp cheddar cheese; grated, or more
2 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar
½ cup Sugar
1 cup Mayonnaise

Directions

~ MAKE AHEAD 24 HOURS Serves 4 to 6 (unless you're like me, and want the whole bowl to yourself)

Combine all ingredients and place in an airtight container. Refrigerate, shaking the container occasionally to mix the contents, and stir it up good a couple of times, too - for a minimum of 24 hours. It must have this amount of time for flavors to properly develop.
