Peach-blueberry sauce

1 | cup | Fresh blueberries; divided |
¾ | cup | Sugar |
⅓ | cup | Water |
⅛ | teaspoon | Ground nutmeg |
Directions
Recipe by: Southern Living Preparation Time: 0:15 Combine ½ cup sliced fresh peaches, ½ cup fresh blueberries, and remaining ingredients in a small saucepan.
Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in remaining peaches and blueberries. Serve fruit sauce warm over ice cream, pancakes, waffles, or pound cake. Yield: 1-½ cups.
MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: Combine ½ cup peaches, ½ cup blueberries, and remaining ingredients in a 2-quart glass bowl. Cover with heavy-duty plastic wrap, and microwave at HIGH for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring once. Stir in reserved peaches and blueberries. Serve fruit sauce warm over ice cream, pancakes, waffles, or pound cake.
