Perry's chicken wings

1 | quart | Peanut Oil For Frying; no substitutions |
1 | pack | Chicken Wings (Second And Third Joints); Approx.12 Wings |
½ | cup | Butter; No Substitutions |
½ | cup | Frank's Red Hot Sauce |
1 | teaspoon | Vinegar |
1 | dash | Garlic Powder |
1 | dash | Pepper |
Ranch Or Blue Cheese Dressing For Dipping | ||
Celery Sticks For Garnish |
Directions
Preheat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees. Deepfry wings 10 to 12 at a time, until golden brown, approx. 10 to 12 minutes. Place wings on paper towels to drain. In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Add red hot sauce, vinegar, garlic powder and pepper. Bring to a simmer and add chicken wings.
Toss wings in sauce for a few minutes. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing with celery sticks for garnish.
If you like your wings hotter add additonal sauce (to taste) to the butter.
