Picnic taco nachos

5 | cups | Tortilla chips |
1 | can | (15 oz.) black beans, rinsed drained and mashed |
1 | can | (4 oz.) chopped mild green chilies, drained |
2 | teaspoons | Taco seasoning mix |
2 | Roma (plum) tomatoes, chopped | |
2 | mediums | Green onions, sliced |
(2 tablespoons) | ||
2 | cups | Finely shredded Colby-Jack cheese ( 8 oz.) |
Directions
Heat coals or gas grill. Spray 30 x 18 inch piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil with cooking spray. Spread tortilla chips on foil. Mix beans, chilies and taco seasoning mix; spoon evenly over tortilla chips. Top with tomatoes and onions. Sprinkle with cheese.
Wrap foil securely around tortilla chips. Cover and grill foil packet, seam side up, 4 to 6 inches from medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
