Potato soup by janet

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
5 larges Potatoes
1 medium Onion
3 Carrots
2 quarts Water
½ Stick butter
1 quart Milk
Salt and pepper
Chopped celery (optional)

Directions

Peel and dice potaotes, chop onion, and peel and dice carrots. Cook until soft in water; add butter, milk, and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer to boil. Serve.
