Ram tough chili

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 pounds Beef chuck, coarsely ground
1 tablespoon Oil
1 can Tomato sauce (8 oz.)
1 medium Onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon Garlic powder OR
5 eaches Cloves Fresh garlic, minced
¼ cup Chili powder
1 teaspoon Oregano
teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Ground cumin
¼ teaspoon Tabasco sauce
½ teaspoon Cayenne pepper

Directions

Brown meat in oil in a covered 2 quart pan. Add tomato sauce, onion and garlic powder. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add water if too thick. Serve with side dishes of pinto beans, chopped onions and grated cheddar cheese. Serves 6.
