Real sardines on toast

6 Sardines
Lemon juice
Olive oil
Black pepper
French bread; (cut into diagonal
; slices)
1 Lemon; (cut into wedges)
Dill for garnish

Directions

Take the sardines, cut off the heads and gut them (get a grown up to help you with this). Turn the sardines over and carefully push the back down.

Now turn the fish over and pull the back bone away. Season with salt and pepper and squeeze over the lemon juice. Griddle the fish for a few minutes and serve with lots of toast.
