Red fruit and champagne

½ | cup | Strawberries washed and hulled |
½ | cup | Raspberries, cleaned |
¼ | cup | Red currants, cleaned |
¾ | cup | Sugar |
750 | millilitres | Bottle chilled champagne or sparkling wine |
¼ | cup | Raspberry liqueur |
Directions
Place the fruit in a large pitcher and cover with the sugar in a layer. Allow the fruit to macerate in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
Just before serving, pour a bottle of champagne over the fruit and add the raspberry liqueur. Serve chilled.
