Roberta grant's swiss steak for crockpot

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 pounds Round steak
2 tablespoons Flour
1 teaspoon Salt
teaspoon Pepper
2 tablespoons Salad oil
1 16oz tomatoes; cut up
1 large Onion; sliced
1 Stalk celery; thinly sliced
1 tablespoon Thick bottled steak sauce

Directions

Cut steak into serving size pieces. Coat with flour, salt and pepper. Brown in skillet with oil. Pour off excess fat. Put all in crockpot. Cover, cook 6 to 8 hours on low. Thicken juices with additional flour dissolved in water (small amount).

Makes 5 to 6 servings.
