Salmon steaks with mustard-mint sauce

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
cup Mayonnaise
2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
4 teaspoons Coarse-grained Dijon-style mustard
¼ cup Shredded fresh mint leaves, or 2 teaspoons dried
4 Salmon steaks, 6 to 8 ounces each
Salt and pepper

Directions

1. Whisk the mayonnaise, lemon juice, mustard, mint and 2 Tablespoons water together in a bowl and let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes. Preheat the broiler.

2. Season the salmon steaks with salt and pepper to taste, then broil for about 5 to 6 minutes on each side.

3. Place a broiled salmon steak on each of 4 warm plates and top with mustard-mint sauce. Serve hot.
