Savory salmon steaks

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 pounds Salmon steaks; 1 inch thick
½ cup Dry white wine
2 tablespoons Green onion slices
½ pounds Velveeta pasteurized process cheese spread; cubed
3 tablespoons Dry white wine
¼ teaspoon Dried tarragon leaves; crushed
¼ teaspoon Dill weed

Directions

Place fish in 9-inch square baking dish. Combine wine and onions; pour over fish. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees 30 to 35 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork. Combine remaining ingredients; stir over low heat until Velveeta cheese spread is melted. Serve with fish. 2 servings.

Variation: Substitute apple juice for wine.
