Scalloped tomatoes

4 | slices | Toast (buttered and sprinkled with garlic salt) |
1 | teaspoon | Grated onion |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
½ | teaspoon | Pepper |
1 | can | (2-1/2 cups) tomatoes |
2 | tablespoons | Butter |
Directions
Butter toast with garlic salt and then cut into cubes. Add onion, salt, pepper to tomatoes. Place a layer of ½ the bread cubes in a greased 1 quart casserole, add tomatoes, top with remaining bread cubes. Pour 2 tbsp melted butter over top. Bake in 375F oven for 20-30 minutes.
