Sesame seed powder

1 1/2 cups

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 ounces Sesame seeds
½ cup Copra grated or shredded
10 Dried red chilies
1 teaspoon Asafoetida
4 teaspoons Oil
Salt

Directions

Fry sesame seeds, copra, chilies and asafoetida in oil for a few minutes until lightly browned. Grind to a coarse powder, adding salt to taste. Store in an airtight container. Serve with rice and gee.

Note: I don't know what copra is.
