Sesame-herb chicken breasts

2 | larges | Chicken breasts, split |
¼ | cup | Butter, melted (1/2 stick) |
2 | tablespoons | Parmesan cheese, grated |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
⅛ | teaspoon | Pepper |
⅛ | teaspoon | Thyme leaves, crumbled |
2 | tablespoons | Sesame seeds |
Directions
Rinse and dry chicken breasts. Combine melted butter, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and thyme. Dip each breast in butter mixture, place skin side up in aluminum foil pan. Cover securely with aluminum foil. Place under broiler about 4 inches from heat for about 15 minutes. Turn chicken, cover with foil and cook 10 minutes on other side.
Add sesame seeds to remaining butter mixture. Remove foil and spread a spoonful of sesame seed mixture on top of each breast.
Return to broiler for 3 to 5 minutes or until sesame seeds are browned. Serve with pan juices. Submitted By JR BYERS On 12-03-94
