2 tablespoons Oil
1 Pouch onion soup mix
¼ cup Barbecue sauce or ketchup
3 pounds Broiler-fryer chicken,cut up
½ cup Apricot or peach preserves
¼ cup Water

Directions

In a 10" skillet over medium heat,in hot oil,cook chicken pieces until browned on all sides.Pour off fat.In a small bowl,combine remaining ingredients;stir into skillet.Reduce heat to low;cover and simmer 30 minutes until chicken is tender,stirring occasionally.
