1½ | tablespoon | Flour |
2 | cups | Dill, chopped fine |
1 | x | Egg yolk |
1 | x | Hot water |
1 | x | Salt, to taste |
1 | x | Vinegar, to taste |
¼ | cup | Cold water |
Directions
Heat butter in a small saucepan. Add flour and cook, stirring constantly, until flour has turned dark yellow. Add the dill that has been washed and minced. Continue cooking for about 10 min, add salt and enough hot water to make sauce the desired consistency. Beat egg yolk together with vinegar. Add about ¼ cup of cold water and then blend mixture into dill sauce. Simmer another minute. Very good with beef, or any meat. Submitted By MARK MIKLAS On 07-25-95
