Soup mandlen

Ingredients

1 | cup | Flour |
½ | teaspoon | Baking powder |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
2 | tablespoons | Cooking oil |
2 | Eggs, slightly beaten |
Directions
from The Joys of Jewish Cooking/Longstreet Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add to mixture of oil and eggs. Knead until smooth. Roll pieces of dough into ½ inch thick strips.
Cut strips into 1 inch pieces. Set out on a greased baking sheets and bake at 375 F for 15 minutes. Move pan occasionally to brown evenly. Add ½ dozen to each plate of hot soup. Store leftover mandlen in a covered jar. \\ Makes about 150.
