Southern favorite fish

Ingredients

2 | pounds | Flounder; or other fish fillets |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
dash | Pepper | |
1 | cup | Flour, all-purpose |
½ | cup | Butter (or marg.); melted |
½ | cup | Almonds; blanced, slivered |
2 | tablespoons | Parsley; chopped |
Directions
Cut fillets into serving-size portions; sprinkle with salt and pepper, and dredge in flour. Saute in melted butter. When fish is brown on one side, turn carefully and brown other side. Total cooking time should be 7 to 10 minutes, depending on thickness of fish. Remove fish from pan and place on a hot platter. Saute almonds until lightly browned; add parsley, and serve over fish.
