Southwestern style black eyed peas

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 can Black-eyed peas
1 Carrot, diced
½ Onion, diced
¼ Green pepper, diced
1 Stalk celery, diced
3 Cloves garlic, minced or
Pressed
½ teaspoon Salt, or to taste
¼ teaspoon Pepper, or to taste
¼ teaspoon Tobasco or other hot sauce,
Or to taste

Directions

Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan, and bring to boil. Simmer for at least 10 minutes, but 20 - 25 is better.
