Spaghetti with pizzazz

Ingredients

½ | pounds | Beef, ground |
4 | ounces | Tomato paste |
1 | cup | Water |
¼ | cup | Green pepper; diced |
¼ | cup | Onion; minced |
1 | Bay leaf | |
½ | teaspoon | Garlic salt |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
¼ | teaspoon | Chili powder |
¼ | teaspoon | Hot sauce |
2 | ounces | Mushrooms, sliced; drained |
Spaghetti; hot, cooked |
Directions
Cook ground beef until browned, and drain well; stir in tomato paste and water. Bring to a boil, and stir in next 8 ingredients. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 40 minutes, adding water as needed.
Stir in mushrooms, and simmer 5 additional minutes; remove bay leaf.
Serve over spaghetti.
