Speedy tuna melt

1 | can | Tuna; ( 6 1/2 oz) |
1½ | teaspoon | Prepared mustard |
¼ | teaspoon | Worcestershire sauce |
¼ | cup | Mayo |
1½ | teaspoon | Grated onion |
2 | tablespoons | Chopped green pepper |
¼ | cup | Sliced almonds |
3 | Hamburger buns; split | |
6 | slices | Tomato |
½ | cup | Mayo |
¼ | cup | Shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
Directions
In a small bowl, combine tuna, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, ¼ c. Mayo, onion, green pepper & almonds. Turn broiler on. Divide the tuna mixture equally between the 6 hamburger bun halves. Top the tuna mixture w/ a slice of tomato. Combine ½ c. Mayo & shredded cheese & spread on slices of tomato. Place buns on a cookie sheet. W/ oven door open, broil about 4 in.
Away from heat till top is golden brown & it puffs up slightly.
Approximately 5 minutes.
