Spiced sirloin strips with peanut sauce

1 | Clove garlic -- minced | |
2 | teaspoons | Peanut oil |
2 | teaspoons | Ginger root -- grated |
½ | teaspoon | Cumin |
½ | teaspoon | Coriander |
2 | Scallion -- thinly sliced | |
1 | teaspoon | Chili paste |
2 | teaspoons | Soy sauce, low sodium |
¼ | cup | Peanut butter, chunky |
1 | cup | Yogurt |

Steak with Garlic |
Directions
Saute the onion and the garlic in the oil until soft. Add the ginger root, cumin and coriander and cook another minute. Add the scallions, chili paste, soy sauce and peanut butter and stir with a whisk until blended. Remove from heat and mix in the yogurt. Slice the steak into ¼" thick strips and toss with half the sauce. Set aside for 20 minutes. Thread each strip on a 10" skewer and grill over a hot fire until browned, about 2 minutes per side. Serve with remaining sauce as a dip.
