4 ounces Peeled; sliced bananas
1 Lemon; juice of
2 ounces Molasses
2 teaspoons Cardamom seeds
Vanilla essence
2 ounces Sugar
2 Dsp dark rum
1 Thick cream for serving

Directions

1 Toss the sliced banana in the lemon juice, place in a saucepan with the molasses, cardamom, vanilla, rum and sugar, bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Pass through a fine sieve. Serve with the thick cream on top of the molasses cake.
