Spicy beef orzo soup

1 | pounds | Beef Round Steak, Boneless cut in bite-size pcs |
1 | can | (16 Oz) Tomatoes, Whole, Salt-Free -- cut in bite-size pcs |
1 | cup | Onions -- finely chopped |
2 | cups | Fresh Green Beans -- chopped |
½ | cup | Orzo |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | teaspoon | White Pepper -- ground |
Directions
For a less spicy version, use less pepper.
In a 5-qt Dutch oven over high heat, bring the water to a boil. Add the meat, tomatoes and onions and cook for 30 mins, stirring often.
Add the green beans, orzo, salt and pepper; continue cooking for 20 mins, or until the meat is tender. Serve hot. Makes 10 cups.
