Spicy beef ribbons

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 pounds Rump roast, trimmed
Marinade:
1 cup Cilantro -- finely chopped
1 tablespoon Fresh ginger root -- peeled
& minced
4 Cloves garlic -- minced
4 tablespoons Sesame oil
2 tablespoons Chili sauce -- hot
2 tablespoons Soy sauce
1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
1 Whole lime -- juiced
pinch Sugar -- optional
8 Skewers

Directions

Cut beef into long strips, about ⅛ inch thick. Mix remaining ingredients. Add beef strips to bowl and marinate in refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Weave 1 or more strips of beef on each skewer. Grill or broil, turning occasionally (2 to 3 minutes each side) or until desired doneness.
