Spicy sausage and cheese pikelets

¾ cup Flour
1 pack MAGGI Tasty Cheese Sauce Mix
1 teaspoon Baking powder
teaspoon Chilli powder
1 Egg beaten
¾ cup Milk
1 tablespoon Finely chopped parsley
½ cup Finely chopped spicy sausage; such as chorizo or
; pepperoni
¾ cup Cream cheese; approximately
2 Roasted red peppers; skinned and cut (2

; into strips
Italian parsley leaves

Directions

TOPPING

Sift the flour, sauce mix, baking powder and chilli powder into a bowl. Add the residue from the sifter.

Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients.

Combine the egg, milk and parsley.

Pour into the well and stir until the ingredients are combined.

Stir in the sausage.

Heat a lightly greased, heavy-based frying pan over a moderate heat. Place teaspoonsful of the mixture into the pan.

Cook until small bubbles appear on the surface and the underside is golden brown.

Turn and cook until the second side is golden brown.

Place on a rack to cool.

When cold, spread with the cream cheese, then top with a strip of red pepper and a parsley leaf.
