Steak alla salmoriglio

2 | cups | Water |
2 | tablespoons | Olive oil |

Directions
Combine water, garlic cloves, parsley, ¼ t oregano, salt, pepper, and olive oil in a small sauce pan. Boil for 5 minutes and set aside.
Season steaks with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and ¼ t oregano. place steaks in grooved broiler pan to catch drippings. Broil 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, longer if you like your steak less rare. Serve steak in a deep dish with drippings. Pour Salmoriglio sauce over steak. Serve hot with lots of crusty bread.
