Steak and rice

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
pounds Tenderized boneless beef round steak
2 larges Onions cut in 112 inch slices and separated into rings
1 can Sliced mushrooms; reserve liquid
1 can Cream of mushroom soup
½ cup Dry sherry
teaspoon Garlic salt
3 cups Hot cooked rice

Directions

Cut steak into thin strips. Place meat in 3 quart casserole. Mix together onions, mushrooms, mushroom soup, sherry and garlic salt. Pour over meat, Cover. Microwave at high (100%) 5 minutes. Microwave at medium (50%) until beef is tender, 45 to 50 minutes, stirring twice during cooking time. Serve over beds of fluffy rice. Makes 6 servings.
