Steak and rice

Ingredients

1½ | pounds | Tenderized boneless beef round steak |
2 | larges | Onions cut in 112 inch slices and separated into rings |
1 | can | Sliced mushrooms; reserve liquid |
1 | can | Cream of mushroom soup |
½ | cup | Dry sherry |
1½ | teaspoon | Garlic salt |
3 | cups | Hot cooked rice |
Directions
Cut steak into thin strips. Place meat in 3 quart casserole. Mix together onions, mushrooms, mushroom soup, sherry and garlic salt. Pour over meat, Cover. Microwave at high (100%) 5 minutes. Microwave at medium (50%) until beef is tender, 45 to 50 minutes, stirring twice during cooking time. Serve over beds of fluffy rice. Makes 6 servings.
