Stewed green tomatoes and peppers

Ingredients

1 | large | Onion, sliced |
3 | tablespoons | Butter |
2 | mediums | Green or Red Sweet Peppers |
6 | larges | Green tomatoes |
pinch | Salt to taste | |
pinch | Pepper to taste |
Directions
Cook onion in butter in skillet for e=three minutes; do not brown.
Wash core peppers and tomatoes, cut into eighths lengthwise. Add to onion. Simmer covered, stirring often, for 20 minutes or until peppers are just tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
