The laird's shrimp

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
¼ pounds Butter
2 Cloves garlic; crushed
1 tablespoon Finely minced onion
1 pounds Raw shrimp; peeled and deveined
3 tablespoons Johnnie Walker Red
2 teaspoons Lemon juice
¼ teaspoon Dried basil
Salt and pepper

Directions

Heat butter in skillet. Add garlic and onion and cook over low heat until translucent. Add shrimp, Johnnie Walker Red, lemon juice and basil. Saute' shrimp just until pink, stirring often. Be careful not to overcook. Add salt and pepper to taste. Makes 2-3 servings.
