Tomato bean soup

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Navy beans
¼ pounds Diced bacon or salt pork
2 cups Cooked tomatoes
Salt

Directions

Wash beans. Cover with cold water. Add bacon or salt pork. Cover.

Heat to boiling. Simmer until tender, but not mushy, adding water as needed. Season to taste. Add tomatoes. Simmer 30 minutes. Serve hot. 6 servings.
