Turkey chili with black beans

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Onions; chopped
1 Red bell pepper; cut into 1/4\" pieces
2 cloves Garlic; peeled & minced
2 Jalapeno peppers; seeded minced
28 ounces Can tomatoes;
1 tablespoon Chili powder;
teaspoon Ground cumin;
teaspoon Ground coriander
½ teaspoon Dried oregano;
½ teaspoon Dried marjoram;
¼ teaspoon Red pepper flakes;
¼ teaspoon Cinnamon;
16 ounces Can black beans; rinsed & drained
2 cups Cooked turkey; cut into 1/2\" cubes
½ cup Cilantro; coarsely chopped stems removed
4 tablespoons Cheddar cheese; shredded Reduced-fat

Directions

In a 3 quart microwave-safe dish, combine onion, bell pepper, garlic, jalapeno and tomatoes. Stir in chili powder, cumin, coriander, oregano, marjoram, red pepper flakes and cinnamon; cover dish. Cook in mmicrowave oven on high for 10 minutes; stir halfway through. Stir in beans and turkey; recover dish. Cook in microwave oven on High for 4 minutes; stir in cilantro. Ladle into bowls, and garnish with cheese. NOTE: for fulling blending of flavors, prepare a day before serving.
