3 | Good measures of a peaty malt whisky
A handful of chipped ice
Chilled highball glass |
Directions
Here's an idea that couldn't be simpler. Scotch-on-the-Rocks (except that in our show on the Briksdalsbreen glacier we used chipped ice off the glacier that was probably over a couple of hundred years old) If using ice from the home fridge, place the frozen cubes in a clean tea towel and bash with a rolling pin until it resembles fine chips and half fill a highball glass and pour the Scotch over. Swirl around and enjoy! We used a good blend, not expensive single malt like Famous Grouse.
